Summer 2016 is winding down but, it is NOT too late to start dressing just like Fashion’s current “It Girls,” (Gigi, Kendall, Selena and Hailey). I’ve been stalking Instagram for the past month in order to create this list of the MUST HAVE accessories and trends that Hollywood’s young elite have been sporting all over L.A. this summer. Here’s a short list of trendy items that you can start sporting in order to add that perfectly “on trend” look and feel to your everyday wardrobe. Excited? Let’s get started!
1. Adidas Superstars, All Stars and Neos- these classic sneakers have been seen gracing the stylish feet of both Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid numerous times over the past few months. Comfortable and incredibly chic, they are guaranteed to up your everyday street style in an instant. You can purchase them directly through the Adidas website or through Amazon! (I chose the Amazon route and mine came in the mail lightening fast!)

2. Mirrored/Cat Eye Sunglasses-if you are on Instagram (or any other type of social media), I’m almost positive that you have seen all the fashion and style bloggers rocking these killer shades, am I right? Let me just say that these incredible sunnies are both cute and uber sexy at the same time! They are most definitely summertime show stoppers and believe it or not, affordable! I purchased mine (Quay) at nastygal.com for less than $50. And these glasses aren’t your average plastic pair from Target, Girl. I was very impressed with the materials used in their design and felt that they were more durable than the average pair of sunglasses that I’ve purchased in the past.
3. Personalized/delicate Jewelry-one of the biggest trends right now is delicate, solid colored metal jewelry: necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets made out of gold or silver that is often personalized with special words, phrases or initials.

4. Chokers-Summer 2016 has been like the 90s fashion revival of our dreams, right? A no 90s inspired It Girl outfit would be complete without a fabulous chocker. These fabulous necklaces have been seen gracing the necks of everyone from Selena, Kendall and Gigi to Kim Kardashian, Miranda Kerr and plus sized model, Ashley Graham! If you are looking to jump in on this fabulous trend, then you need to start by hitting up places such as: NastyGal, Urban Outfitters, ASOS and Forever21. Fashion and media darling Kendall Jenner, who’s been seen wearing some version of a chocker almost every single day practically, finds most of her pieces at an L.A based fashion line called Are You Am I. 5. Body Suits and Off the Shoulder-while Spring 2016 was all about the patterned romper, Summer has reintroduced the classic 90’s favorites: body suits and off the shoulder dresses and tops! All the young, female A-listers have been rocking these cool 90s infused styles and I’ve found some of the places you can start shopping for the pieces that are so favored by celebrities like: Khloe Kardashian, Olivia Palermo and Selena Gomez.

Insider’s hint #2: All the deets on those ever so popular body suits– a great bodysuit tucked into high waisted jeans is the perfect choice for a day out window shopping with friends or a night out on the town with your girls! They come in a range of styles (cleavage baring, off the shoulder, or more conservative) and colors that can be paired with almost any shoe or accessory for a amazing outfit!
Insider’s Hint: For a lower price point, you definitely need to check out places like H&M and ASOS for amazing deals. If you are looking to spend a bit more on one, try looking at companies like Are You Am I or Solid & Striped (FYI, Solid & Striped is where Selena Gomez has purchased her one piece bathing/ body suits in the past! And the now infamous Taylor Swift Annual 4th of July party “red, white and blue striped bathing suits” that she and all the members of her squad wore were all from this designer!)
